Comparing materials and finishes
Two samples can look the same across a booth and feel very different in the hand.
Two samples can look the same across a booth and feel very different in the hand. Before you compare prices, compare what you are actually being offered.
Ask for the material in writing, check the finish in daylight and look at edges, joints and hidden surfaces. Photograph each sample next to its price and booth number so the comparison still makes sense back at the hotel.
If a supplier offers several finishes, ask how each one changes the price and the lead time. The cheapest finish is not always the one that survives shipping.
