What an inspection report should show
Measurements, packaging and photos you can compare against your sample.
An inspection report is only useful if you can compare it against what you agreed. It should show the goods, the numbers and the packaging, not just a pass or fail.
Look for measured dimensions next to the specification, photos of the product, inner packing and carton marks, and a clear note of any defects found and how many.
If something is off, the report is what lets you ask the supplier to fix it before the goods ship.
